Parle Kapole Stores

Parle Kapole Stores is right here in Vile Parle East. We sit in Shop No 2 on the ground floor of the Hind building in Krishna Nagar. It’s a busy spot most days. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty early, so we keep the shutters halfway down sometimes to stay cool. There’s always someone walking by going to the station or just heading home with groceries. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where things get done. You can see the old paint on the walls if you look close enough. The floor gets dusty because of the road right outside. We spend a lot of time just organizing the shelves and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we’re used to it. The neighbors in Krishna Nagar are mostly people we know by face. It’s just us here, keeping the place open from morning until the evening. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just work. Most days are the same, which is fine by us. We keep the ledger on the small desk near the door. There’s usually a bit of a breeze if the back door is left open, which helps when it’s humid. We just keep going, day after day, in this little corner of Vile Parle East.
