Powai is known for being a bit more upscale, but it’s still Mumbai, which means it’s always crowded and busy. Neela India Pvt Ltd is located in B-1101, Crystal Palace. It’s right at the Rambag Junction on AS Marg. The traffic at that junction can be something else, especially during peak hours when everyone is trying to get to work. Our office is high up, so we get a bit of a view, which is nice when you need a break from the computer screen for a minute. The building is a big mix of residential apartments and commercial spaces. Inside, we have a pretty standard office layout. We’ve got the usual desks and a small area where we sit for meetings. It’s not a fancy designer space. We focus more on getting the work done than on what the walls look like. We’ve got some files stacked up and some coffee mugs that have seen better days. The team is small and we all know each other well. We usually order lunch from one of the many nearby places in Powai. There are plenty of options around here. Sometimes we walk down to the lake after work if the weather is okay and it's not raining too hard. Working in Powai has its perks, but at the end of the day, it’s just about doing the job. We aren't a huge corporation.
