Vayodhhas Foundation

You can find us over at Aruna Palace in the Dhantoli area. We are in space S No GS-8. Dhantoli is one of those parts of Nagpur that feels very established, with lots of hospitals and old buildings around. Our foundation is tucked away in the palace building, which isn't really a palace but a regular commercial spot. It’s a bit of an older structure, so the walls have that thick, sturdy feel to them. We work with elderly people mostly, hence the name Vayodhhas. The space isn't huge, but we’ve made it comfortable with some old sofas and a few desks. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, which is nice because the street outside can get a bit hectic with all the traffic heading toward the main roads. We don't have any fancy lighting or modern decor. It’s just a place where we sit and organize things. Sometimes we have volunteers coming in and out, so the place can feel a bit crowded for an hour or two, then it goes back to being still. We don't use much in the way of high-tech stuff. A simple computer and a lot of paper folders do the trick for us. It’s an honest kind of office. We drink a lot of coffee because Nagpur gets so hot and then suddenly it’s rainy, and you just need something to keep you going. It’s a decent spot for the work we do every day. The building watchman knows us well if you need help finding the door.
