Rise Holidays

We run Rise Holidays out of a small place in Shastri Nagar. Specifically, we’re in B-6 Lavankush Apt. It’s a residential building, so it doesn't feel like a cold office at all. It feels more like sitting in someone’s living room, which we actually prefer. We spend our days looking at travel brochures and booking flights or hotels for people who want to get away for a bit. It’s just a few of us working here. We don’t have any big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly find out about us because they live nearby or a friend told them we helped them out with a trip once. There’s usually a stack of passports and some half-filled notebooks on the table. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy with summer vacations, it can get a little messy. We like being in Shastri Nagar because it’s a nice neighborhood and we can get good food just around the corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest travel agency in the world. We just like talking about different cities and helping people figure out how to get there without spending too much money. It’s a simple life, mostly spent on the phone or on the computer, making sure all the tickets are correct. It’s a nice way to spend the day, really, thinking about vacations.
