Travel Aaj

Our little office is over in Chembur, not too far from the main road. It’s mostly just us sitting at desks with a few computers, trying to make sense of flight schedules that change every five minutes. People walk in asking about train tickets or how much it costs to go to Goa for a holiday. We spend a lot of time on hold with airlines, listening to that annoying hold music while trying to fix a booking error. It’s not glamorous. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. We handle a lot of the local families here who have been coming to us for years. They trust us to find a decent price without too many layovers. Sometimes we get stuck with complicated visa paperwork that takes forever to sort out. Chembur is a busy place, and we’ve got a good view of the street from our window. You can see the traffic and people rushing to the station. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the afternoon slump when the phones start ringing again. It’s just a regular travel shop. We don’t promise anything crazy, just that we’ll look into the bookings and tell you what’s actually available. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just have to wait it out. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our toes. We like helping people get where they need to go.
