Disha Holidays

We are located at 1/11 Bharat Bldg on SP Marg. It’s an old building, and our office has that lived-in feel to it. At Disha Holidays, the desks are usually covered in papers, maps, and scribbled notes about bus timings or hotel rooms. The phones ring quite a bit, and there is usually someone talking about travel routes. We don't have a big glossy showroom with posters of beaches everywhere. It’s just a small space where we sit and work out the details for people’s trips. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making calls. SP Marg is a busy street, so we hear the traffic and the horns all day long. Sometimes people just walk in off the street to ask about a train or a local holiday spot. We aren't a huge agency with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here, doing our best to get the details right. The building is a bit dated, but it's home to us. We have drawers full of old files and some pens that barely work. It’s a very ordinary office. We don't use any fancy software; mostly just the computer and our notebooks. We like hearing about where people want to go. Every day is a bit different depending on who calls or who walks in. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything is sorted before we close up for the night. It's a lot of talking on the phone and writing down dates.
