Pugmarks- The Nature Club

Our small group is based out of A-12 Pratik Sainik Society over in Chembur Camp. It is inside the Collectors Colony. We have been into nature stuff for a long time. It isn't really a big business, more like a bunch of us who like getting outdoors. We use this space in Chembur to organize our trips and talk about the next trail we want to visit. The society is usually quiet, which is nice. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking the weather before we head out. It started out with just a few friends and then more people from around the neighborhood joined in. We do not have a big staff or anything, just a few people who handle the paperwork and the phone calls. Sometimes the room gets crowded with gear and bags. Chembur is home for us. We know all the shortcuts around the camp area. If you come by, you might see us packing up for a weekend away. We do not really use fancy gear, just what works for being out in the woods or the hills. It is a lot of manual work getting things ready. We just like being outside and seeing different plants and birds. That is why we started Pugmarks. It is nothing too formal, just a place for people who like the same things to meet up and plan.
