Our office is located on the ground floor of the Auto Commerce Chamber, right at Nana Chowk. We’re in Office No. 4 and 5, which is just a short walk from Kennedy Bridge. Being in such a central spot means the noise of the traffic and the horns is something we hear all day long. Since we’re on the ground floor, it’s easy for people to just stop in while they’re walking past the bridge. The office is a bit of an old-fashioned space with plenty of desks pushed together and stacks of papers everywhere. We spend most of our time looking at travel routes and trying to coordinate different schedules for people. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and we often find ourselves staying late to make sure everything is sorted out. We don't have a big corporate feel here; it’s just a small group of us working in a couple of rooms. The Auto Commerce Chamber is an older building, so it has its own little quirks, like the way the door sticks sometimes in the humid weather. We usually have a lot of maps pinned to the walls and calendars marked up with various dates. It’s a busy, sometimes chaotic environment, but we’re used to the pace of Nana Chowk by now. We just focus on getting through the daily list of things to do and making sure the phones are answered.
