Varnaam Social Welfare Foundation

Our office is located in Bandra West, tucked away on Baptist Road near Mount Mary Church. We are based in the New Monalisa CHS Ltd, specifically in units 1 and 11. It’s a nice part of Mumbai to be in, even if the roads get a bit narrow and crowded sometimes. The Varnaam Social Welfare Foundation has been running out of this building for a while now. We’ve got a couple of rooms that we’ve turned into a workspace. It’s not a fancy corporate setup by any means. There are plenty of old files and mismatched chairs, but it feels like a real place where people actually work. Being so close to the church means we get a lot of visitors in the area, and we like the energy of Bandra. We try to keep things simple and honest here. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We spend our days answering calls, writing letters, and keeping things moving. The building itself is a typical Mumbai cooperative housing society, so we’re surrounded by neighbors and local life. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t have any grand slogans on the walls, just a calendar and some notes to keep us on track. It’s a busy, somewhat messy, but very productive little corner of the 400050 area, and we’re happy to be here.
