Vama Departmental Store

We are located in Mumbai on the famous Lamington Road. You have to come to the Navjeevan Society to find us. Our store is actually way up on the 10th floor, which many people find surprising for a departmental store. We are at 16/39 and have been here for a long time. Mumbai is so crowded that sometimes you have to look up to find what you need. We sell all sorts of daily items that the people in the society and the surrounding area might need. It is a small, cozy space compared to the big malls you see nowadays. We know most of our customers by their first names because they live just a few floors away or in the next building. The elevator can be a bit slow during the peak hours, so you have to be patient. We don't have a fancy website or a delivery app. People just come up and grab what they need from the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to restock as fast as we can. It is a bit of a juggle managing inventory in a 10th-floor apartment space, but we make it work. Lamington Road is always noisy with traffic and people buying electronics downstairs, but up here it is a bit more peaceful. We have a small staff who helps keep the shelves organized and helps people find their groceries. It is a local life.
