V K Rubber Industries

We work out of Flat No B1 in the Satellite Aeka Apartment on Rani Sati Marg. It’s not a big factory or anything, just V K Rubber Industries. We deal with different kinds of rubber parts and seals. Mostly it’s small orders for local workshops or people who need a specific gasket. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the material lying around. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. Rani Sati Marg is a busy road, so there's always something going on outside. We spend most of our time measuring things and cutting them to size. It’s a lot of manual work. My hands are usually stained by the end of the day. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us doing the work. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a few days if we don't have the right thickness of rubber in stock. We try to get the measurements right the first time so there aren't any issues later. People find us mostly by word of mouth. We don't really do any advertising. It's just practical work for people who need things fixed or built. The apartment building is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s a quiet life, focused on getting the orders done. We take our tea in the afternoon and then get back to it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We hope the weather stays dry because humidity affects some of our materials.
