Shashi Rubber Product is tucked away at No. 7 Kadam Chawl, which is part of Jivdani Chawl in the Kameti Dnyaneshwar Nagar area. It’s down in Kokani Pada in Dahisar East. This isn't one of those big industrial parks; it’s a local neighborhood where everyone kind of knows each other. Being at No. 7 means we are right in the middle of a very lived-in space. There are houses all around, and kids playing in the lanes after school. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find Kadam Chawl, we aren't hard to spot. The workshop is practical and gets the job done. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception desk. It’s mostly just the tools and the materials we need. The atmosphere in Kokani Pada is quite relaxed compared to the main city, though it still gets busy during peak hours. We’ve been here for a while, and our presence in Dnyaneshwar Nagar is just part of the local scenery now. Usually, you’ll hear us working before you see us. We take our breaks outside when the weather is okay, watching the world go by in Dahisar. It’s a simple way to run a business, and we like the fact that we are part of the local fabric here.
