V D Exports

V D Exports is tucked away on Nagdevi Cross Lane at number 39/41. If you have ever been down this lane, you know how crowded and hectic it gets with all the hardware shops and people moving crates around. We have been operating from this spot for a good while now. Our day starts early, usually with a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments that need to go out. The space is tight, which is typical for Nagdevi, so we have to be organized with how we stack things. We deal with a lot of different items for export, mostly industrial stuff that people need in other places. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of paperwork and making sure the counts are right before the boxes are taped shut. The street noise outside never really stops until late in the evening. We know the other shop owners on the lane and sometimes we grab tea together when things slow down for a minute. Most of our work happens behind the scenes, coordinating between suppliers and the docks. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a showroom. It’s just us in the office or on the floor making sure the orders are moving. That is how things have always been done here on the cross lane, and it works for us.
