Uma Mangal Foundation

We are set up over in Borivali West, right on L.T. Road. If you know where the Tanishq showroom is, we are basically just above them in the Vini Elegance building. Our office is unit 504. It’s a pretty standard spot in a busy part of Mumbai. We’ve been operating the Uma Mangal Foundation from this location for some time now. It’s not a massive space, but it works for what we need to do every day. The street outside is usually packed with cars and people shopping, so there is always a bit of energy around. Inside, it’s just us doing the paperwork and making sure things stay on track. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or glossy brochures lying around. It’s a practical office with some desks and a couple of filing cabinets. We like being in this part of the city because it’s easy to get to, though parking can be a real headache sometimes. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. We aren’t trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just local people running this foundation. The building itself is okay, nothing special, but it’s home for us during the work week. We usually grab lunch at one of the small stalls nearby. It’s a simple life here. We just focus on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about things. That is just how we work.
