Tulsipatra Foundation

We are located in 1105 Siddhesh Apartment in the Thakurdwar area. It’s right on Khattar Ali Lane. Tulsipatra Foundation is a small setup. We don't have a big office building or a sign on the street. It’s just us working out of this apartment. Thakurdwar is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where everyone is squeezed in together. You can hear the sounds of the street from our windows all day long. We started this foundation because we wanted to give something back, even if it was just in a small way. The name Tulsipatra comes from a simple leaf, which is how we see our work—small but useful. We don't have any big donors or corporate sponsors. Most of what we do comes from our own pockets or small bits from friends. Our desks are old, and the fans squeak a bit, but we get the job done. We spend a lot of time organizing local help and making sure the older folks in the building are doing okay. It’s not glamorous, and there are no cameras or awards. We just think if everyone did a little bit in their own lane, things would be better. Being on Khattar Ali Lane keeps us grounded. It’s a real place with real people, and that’s who we are too. We don't pretend to be anything else. We just try to help out where we can.
