Thanksgiving Foundation

Our office is actually part of the Wakadi Vaastusiddhi Alps apartments. It’s in block A3, room two-zero-three. It’s located in the S.No-153/154 area. Since it’s a residential complex, it’s quite a peaceful place to work compared to the city center. Thanksgiving Foundation isn’t a huge operation. It’s mostly just a couple of rooms where we have set up our computers and some shelving for all the documents we have to keep track of. The balcony has a few potted plants that we sometimes forget to water. We don’t have a big sign on the door or anything. Most people who come here are looking for us specifically. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs doing over some tea. The furniture is just stuff we’ve picked up over the years, nothing matches perfectly. It feels a bit like working from a friend’s house. We do our own cleaning and make sure the door is locked when we go for lunch. Sometimes the neighbors’ pets wander near the door. It’s a very low-key environment. We don’t have a fancy board or a receptionist to greet people at the entrance. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and answers it. The internet can be a bit spotty when it rains, but we manage. It’s just a regular spot where we get our daily tasks done without much fuss or noise from the outside world.
