Swarajya Bandhan Cherity Foundation

Our office is Shop Number 3 in the Parvati Par building. We are right near Central Park in the Tulinj area of Vasai. It is a very crowded part of Thane, and there is always something going on outside our door. The street is filled with other small shops and street vendors, so it gets quite noisy with people talking and horns honking. Our shop is small and a bit narrow, so we have to be careful how we arrange the furniture. We have three desks squeezed in and a tall shelf for all our files. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked from when we moved the heavy safe. We have a heavy rolling shutter that we pull up every morning to start the day. There is a small stool sitting outside where the postman leaves the mail. Because it is so cramped inside, we often stand out on the sidewalk to have our lunch or take a break. The walls are painted a light blue but they are starting to fade. We get our tea from the stall at the end of the block. It is a very busy and honest place to work. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lobby. It is just a functional space in Vasai where we manage the affairs of the Swarajya Bandhan Cherity Foundation every day.
