Swamiseva Foundation

Our place is out in Bhugaon, at a building called Prithavikahights. We are in Flat Number 3, which is part of the 54/11 block. Being on the Mulshi road means there is always a lot of movement outside, especially on weekends when people leave Pune. The building is quite tall and we are on one of the lower floors. We used a regular residential flat for our office because it was easier to set up. Inside, it still feels like an apartment. We have desks in the main room and the kitchen is where we keep the water filter and some snacks. The balcony looks out over a lot of new construction that is happening in the area. It is often very windy, so we have to keep the papers weighted down with rocks or heavy staplers. We don't have a receptionist at a desk. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when the bell rings. The walls have a few marks where we moved the heavy filing cabinets last year. We spend most of our hours here on the computers or talking on our mobiles. The commute from the city can be long, so we try to get a lot done once we arrive. It’s just a normal flat where the Swamiseva Foundation runs its daily operations. We keep things simple and don't worry about having a polished office look.
