The building itself is quite busy with different offices and people moving around the corridors. To get to the first floor, you have to navigate the stairs which are often crowded with people. The office is a straightforward space where we handle all the professional work. There isn’t any fancy decor or modern art on the walls. It is mostly desks, chairs, and files. Malad East is a hectic area, and Kazi Sayed Street always has something happening, from delivery trucks to people walking to the temple. We spend our hours going through papers and meeting with people who come by for help with their work. It is a bit of a walk from the station, so by the time people get here, they are usually ready to sit down for a bit. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a regular office where we put in the time and get the jobs finished. The day usually ends when the street lights come on and the crowd at the temple starts to thin out. We have been at this location for a while now and know the local faces well.
