Sunshine A Fine Arts

Our place is tucked away in Kandivali West, right near Panchsheel Garden in Mahavir Nagar. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk. The studio itself is full of the smell of oil paints and turpentine, which I guess you get used to after a few minutes. We have canvases leaning against almost every wall and stacks of drawing paper tucked into corners. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when we have new supplies coming in. We spend our days mostly working on different pieces or helping people find the right brushes and colors. The light in the afternoon is actually quite good through the front windows, which helps when we're trying to get a color just right. It’s not a gallery where everything is perfect and clean; there are paint splatters on the floor and the tables are a bit stained. We like it that way because it feels like a real workspace. Sometimes the local kids stop by to look at what’s on the easels. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a palette. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, but it’s a nice way to spend the day. We just try to keep the supplies stocked and the projects moving along as best as we can.
