Sunita Jaiswar

Over at 21 Mahape on Old Madras Road, we have our unit in the Nagavara Palya Mahim Complex. It is a bit of a long address, but people find us easily once they get onto the main road. Sunita Jaiswar is the name we go by. The complex is quite large with many different units inside. We are in number 21. The Old Madras Road is a very busy highway. There are always big trucks and buses passing by at all hours. It can get quite noisy and a bit dusty because of the heavy traffic. Our unit has a couple of rooms. The paint on the walls is an old cream color and it is starting to peel off in the corners. We have some heavy wooden desks and metal cupboards where we keep our registers. It is a very practical place to work. We don't have any air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that make a steady humming sound. There is a small canteen in the complex where we go to get our lunch. They make decent snacks and tea. Most of the people working in the other units know us by now. We have been at this address for several years. The whole area has changed with new buildings, but our little spot at number 21 stays the same. We just come in, do our work, and head home. It is a simple, honest routine for us every day. (250 words)
