Suchitra Vazirani Foundation

Suchitra Vazirani Foundation is based out of the Adarsh Industrial Estate on Sahar Road. We are on the first floor at unit number 4. Being in Chakala, Andheri, means it is always hectic outside. The traffic in Mumbai is no joke, especially around this part of town. We have been in this industrial estate for a while. It is a busy building with a lot of different businesses coming and going. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have the usual desks, some filing cabinets, and a computer that has seen better days. We do our work here day in and day out. It is not a fancy corporate park, just a solid, functional workspace. Sometimes the noise from the street gets loud, but we just shut the windows and keep going. We handle all kinds of administrative stuff here. It is a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day you are answering phones, the next you are sorting out the storage area. It keeps things interesting, if nothing else. We like being in Andheri because everything is close by, even if it takes an hour to drive two miles. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, which we actually kind of like. It has got character. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. We would rather just get the work done and head home before the evening rush hour gets too bad.
