Star Watch Depot

Star Watch Depot sits right on the Main Road in Fort, inside the Fazalbhai Building. If you know this part of town, you know it is always moving fast. We have been in this spot for a long time, watching the crowds go by outside our door. The shop itself is simple. We have our glass cases and the small stools where we sit to look at the gears. It is 45/47 on the street, so it is easy to find if you are walking through the busy lanes of Fort. We mostly deal with people who work nearby or those who have lived here for decades. A lot of the work is just routine stuff, like making sure a watch actually tells the right time again. We have a lot of tools scattered around because there is always something to tinker with. The light in the shop is a bit dim sometimes but we have our desk lamps for the fine work. It feels like a different world inside compared to the noise of the traffic right outside. We do not have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front. People come in, say hello, and leave their watches with us. We take care of them and they come back later. That is how it has always been for us here. There is not much else to it, really, just a steady place in a busy city.
