Star Electronics

Our shop is Star Electronics, and you can find us in Malwani, Malad West. We’re in shop number 14 on Plot 23, right near Gate 6. The easiest way to find us is to look for the Sai Baba Mandir, as we’re right across from it. It’s a very lively area, especially when there’s a festival or a special prayer day at the temple. The bells and the music are part of our daily background noise. We fix and sell all sorts of electronics here. The shop is usually crowded with spare parts, wires, and old TV sets waiting for repair. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. My brother and I have been running this place for years. We started out with just a few tools and a small workbench. Now, people from all over Malwani come to us when their gadgets stop working. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty from the grease and solder. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that stay on all day. We like to chat with the customers while they wait. Sometimes the repairs take longer than expected because parts are hard to find. We just do our best to get things working again. It’s a simple life, and we like being part of the local market here. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for years and we know their families well.
