Woods India Furniture

We’ve been here at Woods India Furniture for a while now. You can find us over at No.9N in the Laxmi Kirti Ipcs Ltd. building. It’s right there in the Laxmi Indl. Estate on New Link Road in Andheri West. The area gets pretty busy during the day, but we’re used to it. Mostly we just spend our time working with different types of wood and getting things ready for people who stop by. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we keep our tools and materials organized. Some days are quieter than others. We see a lot of traffic passing by on New Link Road. People usually find us when they are looking for something specific for their homes or offices in the neighborhood. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the space where the work happens. If you’re around the estate, you probably know where we are. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s practical work. Sometimes the sawdust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making furniture. We try to keep things moving along and make sure the items we finish are sturdy. It’s just us here most days, keeping busy with the orders that come in. Being in Andheri West keeps us close to everything we need. We usually eat lunch at the small stall around the corner.
