Kerf Furniture

You can find Kerf Furniture on the ground floor of Shaikhali Chambers. We are right on Keshavrao Khade Marg, just across from Gate 6 of the Race Course in Mahalaxmi. It is a pretty busy spot, especially when there are events going on at the track. We have a lot of wood and tools around the shop. It smells like sawdust most of the time, which I personally like. We do not have a fancy display window, just some of our pieces sitting around where people can see them. We spend most of the day cutting and joining things. It is a bit dusty, but that is just how furniture making goes. The shop isn't huge, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a big project going on. We have been in Mahalaxmi for a while now. People walking by often peek in to see what we are making. We do not really do much advertising. Usually, someone just hears about us from a neighbor and stops by. It is a simple operation. We have a few workbenches and some old machines that still work perfectly fine. Sometimes we sit outside on the pavement when it gets too hot inside. It is just a normal workshop where we build stuff. We do not use any corporate jargon here. We just talk about wood and how to fix things. It is a good place to be and stay busy. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoons.
