Pacific Plastic

Working in Saki Naka means dealing with a lot of dust and noise every single day. We are located at unit 13 in Bindal Estate, and it’s a typical industrial setup for Pacific Plastic. There’s plastic raw material stacked up in the corner and machines that hum from morning until the evening shift ends. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we put things so nobody trips. Most of us have been here for years and we know the machines inside out. Sometimes they break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting them back online. Saki Naka is always crowded, so getting deliveries in or out is usually a bit of a headache with the trucks blocking the narrow lanes. We just do our work, pack the items, and wait for the pickups. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a nice lobby or anything. It's just a workshop with concrete floors and a few fans trying to keep the air moving. When the monsoon hits, we have to keep an eye on the roof for leaks, but mostly it's fine. We handle a lot of different plastic orders, some small and some quite large. We just take it day by day and try to keep up with the schedule. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much downtime in this part of town.
