29 Twenty Nine

Our place, 29 Twenty Nine, is located in the Mohammedbhoy Mansion over at Kemps Corner. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, right on N S Patkar Marg. You can find us nestled between the lane for Cumballa Hill Hospital and the Shiv Sagar Restaurant. It’s a bit of an old building, which gives it some character, even if the walls aren't perfectly straight. We’ve been serving food here to the local crowd and people passing through this part of the city for quite some time. The traffic outside can be a nightmare, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more relaxed. We don't use fancy jargon or try to act like we're something we're not. It’s just a restaurant where we serve dishes we've been making for years. The staff knows the menu inside out, and we try to make everyone feel welcome without being overbearing. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, and you might have to wait for a table, but we try to move things along. It’s a real Mumbai spot, with all the noise and energy that comes with it.
