Studio Moniqueart

Studio Moniqueart is located at 104 in Udyog Mandir No 1, which is on Bhagoji Keer Marg. We are right by the Paradise Cinema in Mahim, which is a spot most people in Mumbai know well. The building itself is an older industrial structure that has been used for many different things over the years. Our studio is up on the first floor. When you come inside, you will see it’s full of art supplies, finished projects, and things we are still working on. The windows are big, so we get a good amount of daylight, even if the view is just of the busy street below. Mahim is a loud neighborhood, so there is always the sound of traffic and people heading to the movies. We have wooden floors that are covered in paint stains, but we like them that way. It makes it feel like a real workspace. The hallway outside our door is usually quiet until the other offices nearby start their day. We have a small area for making tea and a couple of old chairs for when we need a break. It isn't a polished or fancy gallery at all. It’s a workshop where we do the actual work. We have spent many long nights here working under the lights. It’s a comfortable place for us, even if it gets a bit cluttered sometimes. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now and know everyone.
