Standforas Foundation

Standforas Foundation is situated in the middle of Bhandup West. Our spot is at Mayuresh Srishti, right on the LBS Road which everyone knows is always packed with cars and people. We have shops 15 and 16 over in Wing I of Building Number 2. It’s a pretty standard commercial space, nothing too special to look at from the outside. The shutters go up early, and we spend most of our time dealing with whatever work has piled up from the day before. Being in Mumbai, the humidity is always there, and the noise from LBS Road never really stops. We’ve got a couple of desks shoved into the shop space and some old chairs for when people stop by. The neighborhood is a mix of residents and small businesses like ours. It’s convenient being near the main road, even if the traffic makes it a bit loud. Sometimes the courier guys have trouble finding the exact wing, but we usually just wave them down from the shop front. We’ve got a small pantry area for making coffee, though the kettle is a bit temperamental lately. It’s just how we operate—simple and straightforward without any of the big city corporate polish. We know the other shop owners around here, and we all just go about our business. It’s a practical place for us to be based, right in the heart of Mumbai City’s bustle.
