You will find Ssrm Charitable Foundation in Andheri East. We are located at 102 in the A Wing of Sparsh Apartment. This is on Mahakali Caves Road, right next to the Technopolis building in Chakala. It is a very busy stretch of road, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. The apartment building is easy to spot once you get past the main Technopolis gates. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift most of the time. The office is straightforward and functional. We have the usual stuff like desks, some old filing cabinets, and a computer that’s seen better days. The Ssrm Charitable Foundation has been operating from here for a while now. Chakala is a good location because it’s connected to everything, though the noise from the street never really stops. We often have tea from the vendor downstairs while we go through our daily lists. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby and security guards at every turn. It’s just a room in a building where we get our chores done. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people visit at once, but we manage. Most of our work is just staying on top of the paperwork and meeting with local folks who need a hand with something.
