Sonali Commercial Arts

Sonali Commercial Arts is situated in Room No 8 of Chawl No 3. We are over in Kanjurmarg East, specifically in the Mustafa Bazar area. If you walk down Mascarenhas Road and look for Paras Store, we are right near there. It is a small space, but we have everything we need for our work. The chawl is always lively with kids playing and neighbors chatting. Inside our room, you will find brushes, paints, and different types of boards leaned against the walls. It’s not the cleanest place because there is always some project going on. We do a lot of hand-painted signs and commercial art for local shops. The smell of paint is pretty strong most days. Sometimes the lighting isn't great, so we have to move things closer to the door to see what we are doing. People from the market often stop by to check on their orders or just to see what we are working on. It’s a tight-knit community here, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do every day. Sometimes we stay late when a job needs to be finished, and the sounds of the bazar start to die down. It’s a modest way to make a living, but we enjoy the creative side of it.
