We’re located in Malad West, specifically in the Link Way Estates. We have two units there, Gala No 328 and 332. Having two spaces helps because we do both education and charity work at Solicis. The New Link Road is always packed with cars and people, so there’s a lot of energy around the building. It’s a commercial complex, so there are always delivery guys and other business owners moving around in the hallways. Inside our units, it’s pretty straightforward. We’ve got some metal cupboards for storage and a bunch of plastic chairs for when people come to visit. We didn't spend a lot of money on decorations because that’s not really what we’re about. We just wanted a place where we could get work done and meet with the people we help. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road outside flood a little, which can make getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we manage. We’ve been working out of these galas for a good amount of time now. Most of the other shop owners nearby know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest foundation out there. We just want to be reliable and present for the folks who need us. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it’s worth it. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be done.
