Social Capitalism Foundation

We are located in Office 306 at Akruti Arcade. It’s on J. P. Road, right across from Wadia High School in Andheri West. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how the traffic is on J. P. Road, especially when the school lets out in the afternoon. We have been in this building for some time. The Social Capitalism Foundation isn't some huge organization with hundreds of staff. It is just a few of us in a regular office space. We have some desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of files piled up. The location is good because it’s easy for people to find once they get to the arcade. We see a lot of students and parents walking by every single day. Our daily routine involves a lot of phone calls and sorting through mail. It gets a bit hectic sometimes, but that is just the way Mumbai life is. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy on the phone. We try to keep things practical. Most of the time, we are just occupied with the day-to-day tasks that come with running a foundation. It’s not always exciting, but it is the work we do. We like Andheri West because everything we need is close by.
