Sila For Change Foundation

Sila For Change Foundation is located in the Neelam Centre, specifically in room A-301 on the third floor. We’re on Plot 249-A along Baburao Pendharkar Marg, right in the Worli Colony area. Worli is a busy part of Mumbai, and being in the Neelam Centre means there’s always a lot of activity around us. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need. We’ve got our computers, a small table for meetings, and plenty of tea to keep us going. We aren't into big corporate speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on the practical side of making changes. Most of our time is spent coordinating efforts and talking to people who want to get involved. The building is a bit older, but it has character and keeps the rain out. We like being in Worli because it’s central and people can reach us easily. We don't have a team of writers to make us look good; we just write our own letters and handle our own calls. It feels more honest that way. Some days are stressful when there’s too much to do, but we just take it one step at a time. We aren't trying to be the biggest foundation out there. We just want to do our part from this little office in Mumbai. It’s a lot of hard work and not much glory, but that’s fine with us. We’re just regular people working on things we care about. The elevator in Neelam Centre is slow, so we take the stairs.
