Siddharth Forge

Siddharth Forge is located at Shop No 2, right near the Persian Islami in Mazgaon. We’re in a part of town that has a lot of history and old buildings. Our work is mostly about metal and forging parts. It’s a noisy, hot environment, which is just the nature of this kind of business. We’ve got the hammers and the heat, and there’s usually a bit of soot around. We make different types of metal components depending on what’s needed. Sometimes it’s for construction and other times it’s for machinery. We aren't a massive factory; it’s a more traditional setup here in Mazgaon. We’ve been at this shop for quite a while. Most of our work comes from long-time customers who know we can handle the specific types of forging they need. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We spend most of the day dealing with raw materials and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s tough work and requires a lot of patience. The area around Persian Islami is usually busy with people and traffic, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get the orders finished on time. It’s a simple, hardworking life here at the forge, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
