Our office is tucked away in 7/1 Shree Krishna Bhavan CHS Ltd on Sutar Pakhadi Road in Sahar. This part of Andheri East is incredibly crowded, and the streets are very narrow, which makes things interesting when we have to move goods in or out. The building is an older residential society, and we operate from the ground floor area. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have to fit all our desks and the trading stock into a relatively small space. There is always the sound of motorcycles and rickshaws zipping past the window. We have been in this location for a while, so we know all the neighbors and the local delivery boys. The air is always a bit humid being in Mumbai, and we usually have the ceiling fans spinning at full speed all day long. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the phones and the ledger books. Everything is done in a very traditional way here. Sometimes the traffic on Sutar Pakhadi Road gets so bad that we have to wait until late in the evening to move any large boxes. It is just the reality of doing business in a busy suburb like Sahar. We don't have a flashy storefront, just our name on a small board and a lot of work to get through before the sun goes down.
