You can find Mukesh Trading Co. at Shop No. 51, right on 3rd Bhoiwada Lane. If you know Bhuleshwar, you know how narrow these lanes can get. It is a struggle sometimes just to get a handcart through here, let alone a big delivery truck. We have been operating out of this small shop for quite a while now. It’s got that old-school feel where space is tight but everything has its place on the shelves. We aren't trying to be the biggest trading company in the city. We just focus on our corner of the street. The area is always loud with people shouting and bells ringing from the temples nearby. It is a lot to take in if you are new to the neighborhood. We spend most of our time talking to regular customers who have been coming to this lane for years. The shop is pretty basic. We have shelves up to the ceiling because there is no other way to fit everything in. Sometimes the lights flicker or the rain leaks a bit near the door, but we just fix it and move on with the work. It is honest work in a very busy part of town. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where Shop 51 is. It's just a regular trading business run by people who live and work right here in the thick of the Mumbai market life.
