Alucobond

Located right in the middle of the bustle in Andheri East, Alucobond has been operating for quite a while. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic Andheri East can be with all the traffic and the people constantly on the move. We work with those composite panels you see on a lot of modern buildings, handling the logistics and the distribution from our local base. The space we have is mostly for storing the materials and having enough room for the staff to coordinate the deliveries. It’s a fast-paced environment because projects in this city never seem to stop. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all day long. We don't have a big fancy showroom or a polished corporate lobby. It’s more of a functional workspace where the focus is on getting the panels out to the construction sites on time. The humidity in Mumbai can be tough on the guys working in the storage area, but they’re a hardworking bunch and they get the job done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere you look. It’s interesting to think that some of the materials passing through our hands end up as part of the skyline. We just try to stay organized and keep our heads down. It’s a lot of coordination with drivers and site managers, making sure everyone is on the same page. It’s not always easy, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes.
