Rati Lal And Sons

We are located up on the second floor of the Mangaldas Building. 238/3B is the exact spot if you are looking for it. It is a lot of stairs to climb every day but we are used to the exercise by now. The building has been around for a very long time. Rati Lal started things years ago and we just kept the momentum going. The floorboards creak when you walk near the back window. We have old wooden desks that have seen better days. Everything has its own place even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. We don't use fancy computer systems for every little thing. Some stuff is still better handled on paper with a pen. The windows look out onto the street and it is always noisy down there. We actually like the sound of the city moving. We drink a lot of tea during the day to keep our energy up. People come up the stairs looking a bit tired so we always offer them a chair right away. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. Whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It is just us working through the files and making sure the orders are correct. This place has real character and we aren't looking to move to a glass tower. It’s a family thing with the sons and their sons involved now. We know everyone on the first floor too.
