Patel Enterprises

We’ve been at Building No.5 in the Mittal Industrial Estate for a good while now. Marol Naka is always busy, so getting here in the morning takes some time depending on the traffic. Our unit is B 67. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workspace with desks and some files piled up. Most days start with opening the shutters and checking what needs to get done. The stairs in this building are a bit narrow, so we usually just take the lift if it’s working right. There’s a lot of noise from the other units around us, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don’t really do much decorating. There is a small table where we keep the water bottles and some old magazines. Sometimes the tea guy comes around twice, sometimes only once. It depends on how many people are working that day. We know the neighbors at B 66 and B 68 pretty well. We mostly keep to ourselves though. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody has really had the time to think about that. We just focus on the orders and making sure the paperwork is sorted out before the sun goes down. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. It’s just a normal spot where we show up and do the work. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, but we don't mind much. We keep our keys on a hook by the door so we don't lose them.
