The office here at Aditi Samruddhi in Kurla West is usually quite a mess with papers and samples everywhere. We are located at 198/A/1-2, which is easy enough to find once you are in the right lane. Being in Kurla means it is always noisy outside, especially with the trains and the traffic. We spend most of our hours tracking orders and talking to people on the phone. It is a trading business, so we sit in the middle of buyers and sellers all day long. Some days are very slow and we just drink tea and talk about the weather or the local news. Other days, everything happens at once and we barely have time to eat lunch. We have been in this building for a while now and know all the other shopkeepers around. It is a small team here, just a few of us trying to keep the books straight and the shipments moving. We don't use a lot of big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be bought or sold and we do it. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with the daily grind to worry about that. It is a practical place for practical work. Most people who come by are just regular folks looking to settle an account or check on a delivery date.
