Up in Antop Hill, on the 1st Main road, you can find us working away at our shop. This area has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it over time. We do various kinds of art and craft work here. It is not the kind of place with a fancy front window; it is more of a working space where things actually get made. We spend our mornings setting up the materials and our afternoons finishing up whatever was started the day before. The 1st Main gets quite busy with people heading to work or the market, so there is always a backdrop of noise. We like it that way. Inside, you will see paint cans, brushes, and different pieces of work in various stages of completion. Sometimes the smell of paint is quite strong, so we keep the door open to let the air in. We are not a big company with lots of employees, just a few of us who like making things with our hands. It is practical work. If someone needs something specific made, they come in and talk to us, and we see if we can do it. There isn't any polished sales talk here. We just show what we have done and tell people how long it will take to finish. It is a simple way to run a business, and it works for us in this neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and work.
