Shree Shalibhadra Foundation

Shree Shalibhadra Foundation is tucked away in Malad West, Mumbai. You can find us at Room Number 13 in the D-10 block of Bhadran Chawl. We are located right behind N.L. School, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to visit us. Working out of a chawl means we are right in the thick of things. It is a small space, but it is enough for the few of us who run the foundation. Living and working in Malad, especially in a place like Bhadran Chawl, keeps you very grounded. We don't have fancy office furniture or a lobby. It’s just a room where we keep our records and meet to talk about our next steps. The neighborhood is always noisy and full of life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Most people around here know who we are because we are their neighbors first. We started this foundation because we wanted to do something for the community in 400064. It’s not about being a big name or having a shiny logo. It’s about being there when someone needs something. Sometimes the room gets a bit crowded when we have meetings, but we just bring in more plastic chairs. We are just regular people from Malad West doing what we can with the little we have. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours and we like it.
