Shree Sawan Stores

Worli is a busy place and being near Opera House means there's always something going on outside our door at 41463. Shree Sawan Stores has been here for a while now. Most days start early, usually before the traffic really gets bad on the main road. We keep the doors open for anyone walking past who needs something quick. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. It is just a shop where we stock what people around here actually use. Sometimes the shelves get a bit cluttered because we try to fit a lot in a small space. We know most of the people who live in the nearby buildings by name. They stop in to chat or just grab their supplies and head to work. The weather gets hot in Mumbai so the fan is always running in the corner making a bit of a clicking sound. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here. If you are looking for the big glass buildings, those are further down, but we are just a regular spot in the middle of it all. Working here feels like being part of the neighborhood fabric. We keep things simple and try to make sure we don't run out of the basics. It gets a bit chaotic during the monsoon when everyone crowds inside to stay dry, but that's just how it goes in this part of town.
