We are located over in Kandivali 4. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with supplies and finished pieces. There isn’t much room to move around once the new stock arrives. We spend most of our days here surrounded by colors and materials. It gets a bit disorganized sometimes, especially when we are working on a big project. But we know where everything is. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We like that. It lets us focus on what we’re doing. Most of the people who stop by are locals who live just a few blocks away. We’ve been at this for a while now. Shree Ji Art isn't some high-end gallery. It’s just a place where we create things. You’ll probably see some dust on the shelves and maybe some paint spills on the floor. That’s just part of the job. We don’t use a lot of technology here. Most of our work is done by hand. We find that it feels more real that way. Sometimes we stay late when the inspiration is there or when we have a deadline to meet. My son helps out after school sometimes by cleaning the brushes. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have a big marketing plan. People just see our stuff and come in to talk. It’s a nice way to spend the day in Kandivali. We just keep making things one at a time.
