Shlok Art

If you look for Shlok Art, you’ll find us over at Ramesh Apartment, specifically in A/2 on Narsing Lane in Malad. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we like it that way because it stays relatively quiet when we’re trying to focus. Malad is always moving, but inside our space, things are a bit more slow-paced. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a lot of supplies piled up in the corners. It’s not the most organized place in the world, honestly. There are usually papers or sketches scattered around, and sometimes we lose track of where the stapler went. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, someone is just working in the back and will come out if they hear the door. We started this because we liked making things, and that’s still pretty much what we do every day from Monday to Saturday. The lighting in the apartment is okay, though we use some extra lamps when it gets cloudy outside. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and sometimes we stop to chat in the hallway about the weather or the local traffic. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything fancy. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just us doing our thing here.
