Shamkris Charity Foundation

Shamkris Charity Foundation is located in Borivali East, specifically at WesternEdge 11 in Magathane. We are down in the B/001 unit on the upper basement floor. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but once you’re in the building, just head down. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s a basement office, so we don’t get much natural light, but we keep the lamps on. We do a lot of charity work from this small space. There are boxes of supplies stacked in the corners usually. Some days are quieter than others. We handle a lot of requests for help and try to sort through them as fast as we can. It’s just us here, making phone calls and keeping records of where things go. The building is pretty big, so being in the basement feels a bit tucked away, which is fine for getting work done without too many distractions. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just a practical setup for helping out. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit cold, so we keep sweaters around. We’ve been in Magathane for a while now. Most people who come by are either looking to help or need something sorted. It’s a lot of manual work, typing things into the computer and making sure the charity funds are going to the right spots. We just keep our heads down and work.
