Sham Shinde

Sham Shinde here at Laxmi Niwas. We’ve been at this spot on Dataram Lad Marg for a while now. The building is one of those older places you find near the Cotton Exchange, right by Raj Gopal Road. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We are over here in the Hoysala Sai Shelters area, postcode 400033. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days start pretty early because things around here pick up fast. I spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we get our work done. People from the neighborhood stop by often, and you get to know the faces after a few years. Finding us isn't too hard if you know the landmark of the exchange. We’ve got a small team, and we mostly just focus on finishing the tasks we have for the day. No big speeches or corporate talk here, just regular people working. The road can be a bit crowded during the middle of the day, so I usually try to get the heavy lifting done before then. It’s been a good experience being based in this neighborhood, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the buildings around us over the years. It’s home.
