Sejal Art is situated at 5/6, Kanadia Estate. You can find us on Subhash Road, right across from United Ink in Vile Parle East. It’s a lively part of Mumbai to be in. The estate itself has a very specific feel to it, with different businesses operating side by side. Being in Vile Parle, we get to see the local crowd moving past all day long. Sometimes the traffic on Subhash Road gets backed up, and you can hear the horns from inside our space quite clearly. We’ve occupied these units for quite some time now. The interior of Sejal Art is filled with the tools of the trade and various projects at different stages of completion. It isn't a showroom by any means; it's a working space where things actually get made. We often have dust on the tables and bits of material on the floor because that’s just the nature of what we do here. There’s a certain rhythm to the day, starting with a quick sweep of the entrance before the real work begins. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or making the office look like a magazine photo. It’s a practical setup for people who like to work with their hands. Across the street, the United Ink building is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. We’ve become a small part of the local landscape over the years in Kanadia Estate and we like the community here.
